1. Description
  Silicone rubber can be differentiated to monocomponent and Bicomponent on constitution.Monocomponent silicone rubber (main is building sealant) and Bicomponent silicone rubber(main is mould rubber) are manufactured from RTV107 (a sort of crude rubber of our factory).Rubber mixings are manufactured from HTV110 (a sort of crude rubber of our factory).Silicone rubber can be differentiated to the type of condensation and the type of crosslinker with peroxide and additive type on mechanism of solidification. RTV107 silicone belong to the type of condensation. Rubber mixings belong to the additive type of crosslinker with peroxide. It can be pressure forming. There are various choice of crosslinker and catalyzer to silicone of additive type. Use level of catalyzer is minim and has not any problem to remain in rubber. Cross linked product are non toxicity as medical application. Additive cross linked resction can be finished in room temperature and high temperature . Cross linked product can be vulcanized directly from liquid state and take on high tear strength and flame retardant. Additive cross linked resction can be controlled at end group and side group of chain easily. So the performance of product are better .it may become a sort of new excellent product without high cost.
  The RTV silicone and the additive silicone are called as liquid silicone rubber. Its can manufacture various products directly with new developing technics --- injection molding and did away with kneading and secondary cure procedure. Its has a shortcoming that RTV silicone solidify slowly and weak mechanical strength. Additive cross linked silicone rubber are composed by crude vinyl silicone rubber that molecular weight is from thousands to hundreds of thousands and hydrogenous silicone oil that content of SiH is more than ten percent mole and catalyzer and filling. SiVi and SiH at end of chain have better activation and react rapidly. Its mechanical strength is more high.
  Prospect of quantity demanded of additive cross linked silicone rubber will very well in the wake of people demand higher quality of product.
2. Purpose and specialty
  Additive cross linked liquid silicone rubber is higher grade. Its mechanism of vulcanization is quite difference from the type of condensation. It need vinyl organopolysiloxane as basal polymer and hydrogenous organopolysiloxane as crosslinker to form netlike structure with platinum catalyzer at room temperature or heating.
  To compare with silicone of condensation. Additive cross linked liquid silicone rubber don’t give birth to accessory substance in process of vulcanization.and weeny contraction ratio and can be vulcanized deeplevel. The electrical property of silicone of condensation have a valley period after vulcanization. But Additive cross linked liquid silicone rubber have no this phenomenon. The sealing performance at high temperatures and resistance to reversion of Additive cross linked liquid silicone rubber is better than silicone of condensation also.
  On the side. Additive cross linked liquid silicone rubber can be used as basal polymer for parting agent and anti seizeand partitioning agant and electric conducting material and heat conducting material and coated material of various fibrous textile and printing ink for silk screen process and adhesive. Etc.
