◆Xing Huo It is located in Xinghuo industrial Garden, Yongxiu county, Jiangxi province. There are two silicon monomer production units, i.e. 20,000t/a & 50,000t/a, one for each. The total annual capacity of silicon monomer is 70,000 tons, together with matched facility of caustic soda (20,000t/a) by ion membrane process. At the moment, this silicon production base is the biggest in China.
Star New Materials has been adhering to following the road of combining R&D with production in the development of silicon.For the past several years,we made joint efforts with well-known universities in Nanjing and Hangzhou to eastablish R&D base,also built our own central research Lab so as to provide technical guarantee for the developement of silicon.Star New Materials is also the council member unit of China Silicon & Fluoride Materials Industry Association.
◆Wu Xi It is located in Wuxi city, Jiangsu province: By the end of 2003,we shall possess the production capacity of bisphenol A(45,000t/a) and epoxy resin (25,000t/a).At the moment,it is the biggest production base for bisphenol A & special epoxy resin in China.For years,attention has been paid by Star New Materials to the R&D and application of epoxy resin.We developed successively several hundreds of special epoxy resin including fire retarding type,phenolic type and O-cresol type etc,so as to meet the specific requirement of the market.Star New Materials is also the counsil member unit of epoxy resin trade in China.
◆Nantong
It is located in Nantong city, Jiangsu province.Now we have a production unit of PBT synthetic resin by continuous ester exchange process(30,000t/a) and a modified engineering plastics unit (30,000t/a).It possesses the annual production capacity of 1000 tons of color developers.Right now it is one of the top three color developer manufacture enterprises in the world with self-owned intellectual property and patents.
◆Harbin It is located in the Chemical Development Zone of Harbin city, Heilongjiang province possessing a phenol-acetone production unit with an annual capacity of 45,000 tons by adopting the technology of UOP, USA.
